Although the book describing the history of Barum Rally named Yellow-Blue Rally will be published in August this year, you can pre-order its limited edition containing eight signatures of selected winning stars from the history of this Moravian Competition now. The exclusivity lies not only on its over 600 pages, but mainly on the original autographs of John Haugland, Jiri Sedivy, M.Sc., Vaclav Blahna, Harald Demuth, Raimund Baumschlager, Roman Kresta, Vaclav Pech jr. and Jan Kopecky. “I can personally confirm that every single book from the “600” limited edition is signed by those stars. On top of that it all went under the hands of Ms. Eckardt from Germany, Arlid Antonsen from Norway and Jan Olog Bohlin from Sweden. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them once more for their great help during this signing event,” says the project author, Daniel Porazil, and adds: “The sale is also accompanied by the launch of the website at www.peopleforrally.cz, where you can find a photo gallery taken on signing events provided by co-author Jiri Fryje. You can also read several comments from the participants describing their feelings about this project and its aim for charity.”

All interested can also pre-order the standard edition of the book containing 608 pages of text, results and photographs. The publication can be split up in three sections where the first is created by individual commentaries about past years of Barum Rally enriched by the memories of direct participants such as Miroslav Caslavka, Johnny Haugland, Lucky, Jiri Motal, Bedrich Steuer, Raimund Baumschlager and more. The second section contains almost twenty extensive stories from interesting celebrities, who connected their lives with Barum Rally. Memories are brought from for instance Mr. Cuba, Ms. Pilcikova-Trinkewitzova, Harald Demuth and Jakke Honkanen. The last section is represented by the results from years 1972–2016. The whole piece is accompanied by countless number of mostly not yet published photographs.
“Pre-order anything with almost half a year waiting is in a way non-standard matter,” admits the author’s duo. “This is a service for those who can hardly wait, worrying to receive their copy either of the numbered limited edition, the standard edition or both. We can guarantee all, who make their order before 1st August 2017, that the price includes packaging and posting costs.” The whole press run contains 2,000 copies, there will be for sale most likely only 500 pieces of limited edition and 1,200 pieces of standard edition though.
